My friend Kate was headed to Shanghai on business. I proposed a trade: If she would be willing to bring me a hand-hammered wok from the Cen brothers, I would make a Chinese feast for her family. The Cen woks are 100 percent made by hand. Another friend had gifted a Cen wok to me and I want a second one so that I have one to pass on to each of my children some day.
