During her career as food writer for the Seattle Post Intelligencer, Hsiao-Ching Chou shared many stories about learning how to make dumplings (boiled, steamed, potstickers) at her mother, Ellen’s, apron strings. These are the same potstickers that were featured in an episode of “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” on the Travel Channel.
We discovered that Hsiao-Ching Chou, mother of two and one of our most popular and beloved instructors, loves to teach kids! For this special kids’ cooking class, Hsiao-Ching Chou will teach your child how to make traditional pork and cabbage potstickers. The kids will also learn to make green onion pancakes. Then they’ll sit down to a kid-friendly lunch of potstickers, green onion pancakes, soup and vegetables, with beverages included.
The price of this class is for one child, intended for third to fifth graders. No need for a parent to be present. (Tip: Drop off your kid and use this 3 hour opportunity to get your last minute holiday prep and shopping done!) $85
